The GIS Sociabilités was created at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale (UBO), by a Founding Agreement signed on July 17, 2017, modified by 6 amendments since.
It was directed by Prof. Annick COSSIC from its foundation to December 2019.
The GIS governing bodies (Direction, Board and Scientific Council) were renewed by election on Dec. 13 2019.
The GIS has been directed by Valérie CAPDEVILLE since December 2019. She has been renewed as Director in December 2023 for 3 years.
The GIS registered address changed to the Université Rennes 2 in January 2024, after being hosted at Université Sorbonne Paris Nord since September 2020.
At the last GIS annual meeting, held on Dec. 15, 2023, its governing bodies were renewed for 3 years.
The GIS Founding Agreement was renewed for 3 years in July 2020 and for 3 years again in July 2023.
The GIS governing bodies meet annually in December.
